
In this post I'll tell you step by step procedure which will assist you to make a VPN in Windows 7 and Windows XP.
How to Create a VPN:
This process involves two sub-processes that are listed below:
Incoming Connection: (For Windows 7 and XP)
1) Navigate to Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings. Now press Alt+F and click on the New Incoming connection.

2) Now add any existing user or add a new user that may connect to your computer once the process finished.

3) Click Next and click on the checkbox “Through the Internet” and click Next.

4) Select Internet Protocol of your own choice. In our case we will use TCP/IPv4. Now open the TCP/IPv4 and enter address ranges. Don’t uncheck the “File and Printer Sharing…” and “QoS Packet Scheduler”.

5) At last click on Allow Access and then click on Close.

This is it, our incoming connection has been completed.
Outgoing Connection: (For Windows 7)
1) Simply write VPN in start menu search and hit enter.

2) Enter live IP, VPN Name and click next.

3) Now you need to enter username, password and domain of the user that you created in first potion of this post (Incoming Connection) and click on the Connect.

Outgoing Connection: (For Windows XP)
1) Navigate to Network Connections and click on the Create a new connection and click Next.
2) Now check the 2nd radio box that is “Connect to the network at my workplace”, click Next and check “Virtual Private Network connection”.
3) Click next and enter Company Name.
4) Now click Next and check “Automatically dial this initial connection” and again click on Next.
5) At last enter IP address that must be a live IP, then click Next and click Finish.
