How To Remotely Monitor Your PC Or Mac From Anywhere Using iPhone

iStat 2 brought up Bjango, is a revived edition of the famous computer monitoring tool iStat. iStat 2 is more than just a monitoring tool and has been able to grab the interest of many tech-savvy users. Be it Windows, OS X or Linux, iStat 2 can locate any system and depict the generated statistics using your iPhone. “The world at your fingertips” has been taken on a more literal meaning by iStat 2.

Users can have bulk of information without needing to face the system. The number of statistics measured can make you wobbled with shock. Be it, memory usage or system’s temperature, iStat 2 brings you all that you would want to know about your computer. Add to it, network usage and load average along with a series of other relevant data is like an icing on the cake.

The main window of iStat2 displays all your existing systems. You can easily browse through or add a new device by clicking the “+” button. This will make you enter the Name, Address and Port of the required system. If your router is compatible with UPnP then iStat server maps all the devices automatically. After adding the device info, it will prompt you to enter a confirmation PIN displayed by iStat Server on the system. Simply add it and you will be having this device added on the list in future. The UI and installation process of iStat2 is simple and pretty user-friendly.

iStat 2 for iOS devices seem to be less useful than keeping a track of a server machine. However, it doesn’t diminish its paybacks even with missing temperature and fan speed stats. There’s still a lot to explore even being an additional utility to the main course.  For less than five dollars, gaining wealth of your system’s information is not a bad deal for sure. You can easily get it from App store and embellish to your system’s utilities.
