iPad 4 vs Surface RT, Which One Good For You

Microsoft and Apple have been known for their head-to-head rivalry in the IT industry for ages. Each of them has been seen to give out their best shot to seek out best market share. Recently, both got publicized with their recent creation i.e. iPad 4 and Microsoft’s Surface RT.

Surface RT is being acclaimed by technical experts in most areas. Nevertheless, Apple still steals the show by appealing most of the users for its iPad 4. One of the critics, EuroGamer has highlighted some major reasons why iPad 4 acquires an edge over Surface RT.

Eurogamer states that Metro styled UI is elegant and is richer than what Android and iOS has been offering. But Microsoft has a long way to meet the actual needs of tablet users that iPad 4 has already managed to do. The gaming capability of Surface RT was harshly criticized by Eurogamer. The Surface was even unable to play simplest games such as Fruit Ninja. Even the quad core Tegra 3 processor seems useless for such performance. Eurogamer concluded the review by the final comment for designers of the system that they hadn’t bothered to cover the gaming aspects of the tablet which makes the tablet a whole generation behind Apple’s iPad 4.

The other functionality issues with Windows RT are being already questioned by reviewers such as non-compatibility with previous Windows apps and programs. The reasons highlighted in this post are the main source behind growing popularity and huge fan following of Apple’s iPad 4.
