How To Make Your Android Device Secured

Android Security
Android fan-following is seemingly increasing day by day, and so are its security concerns. If you are keeping an Android device then you should be well aware of the precautionary steps to secure your device from being misused by the unwanted people.

How To Secure Your Android Device:

Below are the some easy methods that will help you to protect your device from any security issue:

Tip no 1: Add Pass-Codes:

Pass-codes are the most basic and easy technique to secure your Android sets. It prohibits unauthorized users to access your private content. Moreover, a pass-code doesn't lock your SIM card. Therefore, you easily switch to other devices, any time, any where.

Tip no 2: Switch Off Carrier Backups:

Make sure your carrier setting for backup storage is disabled. Carrier backup feature restores your contact information automatically onto the device even if you format it. To turn off the carrier backups, go to Settings -> Accounts and Sync, and uncheck the Carrier Sync under Manager Accounts.

Tip no 3:  Use Images As Pass-codes:

Adding photos rather than text to your pass codes. Image pass codes are safer than the text ones as no one can play guessing games to unlock your phone. Adding images for the pass code is quite easy:
Firstly, get the print out of your name and contact info.
  • Take an image with your device camera, and save it to the gallery.
  • Choose the image as lock screen.
  • Press the menu button. It will display a menu on your screen. Choose "Wall Paper" from there.
  • Now select the clicked photo from the "Gallery", and adjust it accordingly. Save the adjusted picture, and test the contact information as your pass-code.

Street crimes are frequently increasing. However, by applying a bit of effort and intelligence, you can prevent your valuable Android sets from being misused.
