The features are somewhat similar to its ancestor S3. However, when it comes to count on weight, S4 is 10 g lighter than the S3.

The recent release has now provoked the rooters, and Samsung fans are madly seeking out the rooting instructions for their new headsets. If you comply with these pre-requisites then just follow these steps to get the rooting done;

  1. Firstly, make sure you have installed all the recent Samsung USB drivers.
  2. Find the rooting folder from here, and extract the contents.
  3. Enable USB debugging mode on your device by going to Apps -> Settings -> Developer Options -> USB debugging.
  4. Now, connect the set to your laptop or PC via USB.
  5. Windows users can go to the extracted directory and run the command “run.bat”. However, if you are using Linux or Mac OS X, browse the extracted directory in a terminal and run “./run.sh”.
  6. Finally, accept the ADB connection from your set, and you are done.

Before, following this steps, it must be noted that there are no recoveries, released for the new Samsung Galaxy S4. So just in case if your phone gets bricked, fixing it could be difficult.
