Apple recently unveiled the latest version of their mobile operating system that is iOS 8. It will be available for download this fall, but currently it is available for developers and today Apple rolled out the iOS 8 beta 2 with build number 12A4297e that includes several tweaks and bug-fixes. The iOS 8 is not officially available to download and install, but you can still install it to hands-on the newest features before the official release.

How To Install iOS 8 Beta:

  1. First of all Sign up at iOSDev.
  2. Now sign in using your Apple ID.
  3. Register your device by entering device name and UDID (Unique Device Identifier)
  4. Go to the Developer Portal, select the iOS 8 beta section and download the required firmware on your Mac or PC.
  5. Extract the .ZIP file that you just downloaded to get .IPSW files.
  6. Now connect your device to Mac or PC and launch the iTunes.
  7. Once iTune is launched, restore and start installation of .IPSW file.
  8. Wait for some time to complete the installation and once the iOS 8 logo on the screen of your device, you are all set to use iOS 8 on your deivce.
