HTC 8X vs Nokia Lumia 920: Pick Your Windows Phone 8

In this rising competition of smartphones, every brand tries to give out its best product to grab the market sales and so HTC just did. HTC recently has shown up with its new HTC 8X after Nokia’s Lumia 920 release, with Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8 as the operating system.

Both of them are amazing in their own ways, however, one may want to know about the distinguishing features that leave one of them behind the other. The below is the comparison made between HTC 8X and Nokia’s Lumia 920.

Design and Weight
Both devices are available in a variety of vibrant, beautiful colors with sleek and slim body.  However, Lumia 920 is shown to have a weight of 185 grams which is 55 grams heavier than that of HTC 8X measuring at 130 grams only. The super sensitive touch technology of Lumia 920 has seen to have a lead as compared to HTC 8X. Still, 8X has the higher density pixel of 342 ppi which leaves the Lumia 920’s 332 ppi a bit behind. The display of Lumia 920 is bigger than that of 8X which is 4.3 inches as compared to Lumia’s 4.5 inch.

Camera and Bluetooth
As far as camera specs are concerned, 8X comes with 8 MP sensor which is comparatively less than Lumia 920’s 8.7 MP. But I hope it doesn’t disappoint like the Lumia 900 did! Lumia 920 inherits Bluetooth 3.1 leaving behind the HTC 8X’s which is 2.1.

Battery and Storage
Storage wise, Lumia 920 surely takes the lead as it is offering 32 GB built in with 7GB of Microst SkyDrive storage. On the other hand, HTC 8X incorporates 16 GB of memory which is quite discouraging. Both of them run on 1GB of RAM however, the option of microSD card is lacking in both. The battery power of 8X is measured at 1,800 mAH whereas Lumia 920 is offering 2000 mAh but Lumia needs that much of power to last for long time.

Both HTC 8X and Lumia 920 are worth buying, however you can decide to buy the best on the basis of the comparisons made above.
