Apple iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 2: Thinner Or Bigger?

The popularity of prior comparison-based articles urged me to share another interesting contrast between the highly acclaimed Apple's iPhone 5 and the biggest smartphone launched by Samsung i.e. Galaxy Note 2.

Design
Design wise, iPhone 5 is on the lead because of its sleek and shimmery body made up of aluminum and glass that looks quite classy! On the hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has made certain advancements in its design as compared to the prior versions but there’s a lot of work to do in order to make it reach to the iPhone 5’s level.

Camera
Apple iPhone 5 offers an 8 megapixel camera along with auto-focus, LED flash, concurrent HD video and image recording ability, touch-focus, face detection, panorama effect, HDR, full HD video recording and enhanced BSI sensor. It seems like it contains all the features that one would demand in a digital camera. Comparatively, Samsung comes with 8 megapixel sensor with autofocus facility, LED flash, image stabilization, still recording, HD video, face and smile detection as well as geo-tagging. The image results from Galaxy Note 2 are not as good as iPhone 5’s as it has the ability to capture under various meteorological conditions.

Memory
Memory specification has made the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to leave behind what’s iPhone 5 is offering. Both of them incorporate 64 GB of built-in memory however, Galaxy Note 2 can be expanded further using the microSD slot which lacks in iPhone 5. Talking about RAM, Galaxy Note 2 comes with 2 GB whereas iPhone 5 offers 1 GB which clearly defines the winner in this domain.

I know the above contrast made between iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would have cleared up your mind and has eliminated the confusion to choose the best out of both devices.
