Migration of Contacts and Calendars:
You can easily switch your iPhone calendar and contacts to Android platform. All you need to have is iOS 3.0 version and an active Gmail account. Just follow the listed down method,

1. Select Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2. You need to setup a Microsoft Exchange Account even if you are importing your contacts from Gmail.
3. Enter your Email ID and login info. Those who have actual ME server, they can enter a domain otherwise, Gmail users can leave the text-field blank and proceed.
4. Choose “Server” then add either Gmail’s server address i.e. “mail.google.com” or ME server address.
5. Finally select whatever you want to import such as Mail, Contacts, and Calendars etc.
6. Select “Accept”.

There’s another way doing it through iTunes but it is relatively a tiring process as you would need to enter all the details for all of your contacts.

Importing your Media Files:
To import all your pictures and videos on your Android, just get your iPhone connected to your computer and copy all the required files from your phone to your desktop via windows Explorer. Finally put your Android phone connected to your PC and transfer all the media files in your phone memory. Mac users can make the use of Image Capture feature to download these files on their desktop.
