Super users and Geeks are always looking to root their Android devices including smartphones and tablets to get most out of their device
and to increase the functionality of the device, in more particular words
rooting is the process of gaining the “root access” of that device. HTC along
with MoDaCo - Paul O’Brien come with a new package known as Superboot that will
allow the device to root on its very first boot by simply installing su and the
superuser APK. This utility is compatible with all those HTC handsets that have
S-OFF and HTCdev unlocked bootloader features. This package will allow the
users to taste the charm of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich features. The HTC
One X has yet to hit the markets, but we have already a procedure to root it to
Android 4.0, thanks to Superboot.
